Hello Foodie Fam,

I am Jayla Caldwell better known as “Chef Betty”. Most people from my hometown of Dallas, Texas know me for my catering and bartending around the city. My love for culinary started in high school. I would bake cookies and cakes to sell at school to sweeten my pockets. Since my love for cooking was genetically transferred from one mother to the next, it was no surprise when after graduation my mother and I decided to start a catering business together.

As we continue to grow in entrepreneurship, it still continues to lift my spirit when my food lights up people faces with a smile. Cooking brings me joy and the purpose of Jayla Mays Catering is to share that joy with others through the universal medium of food. Everything that comes from the JMC Kitchen is made from scratch! Homemade, personally picked products that let each customer know I had them & those close to them in mind when I prepared it.
